Hey guys im new to the civic world. I have got a 1998 ex. Its got a SOHC D16Y8. I have got an aftermarket COI. Also has a need muffler. What are some things i can do to my car cosmetically. And mechanically? Also im thinking about buying a body kit. But how much would it cost to paint. I am currently in the process of installing a VTEC indicator in my car. Just for fun. Im also gonna redo my headliner and all the fabrics in my car other than seats and carpet. What kind of fabric should i use for the headliner and stuff? Sorry for all the questions!

 

Man I would do most of your mods under the hood before you mess with the interior and way before a body kit. I have a 05 honda LX and I did what every honda guy would do. Intake (AEM), headers (OBX), & exhaust. After you make a little more power than stock then start making it stand out. But i guess its your car and your money so its up to you. I bought my car new and just recently put a lip kit and side skirts on. I am almost running out of mods, whats left is pulleys and turbo. good luck bro

 

you can throw a short shifter on .... transmission flush, oil change with royal purple, new tires, coil overz, new aftermarket brakes, rimz, si spoiler.. there are lots of modz to do..turbo kit, speakerz, amps, new quick release steering wheel lol have fun! -

 

Lip kit > Body kits.
