Default help me please...

ok well i need to rebuild me transmission over the winter this year. but the bad thing is i CANT find a book that will help me out in doing this project. so if anyone here knows where i can find on to order online. please tell me i need it ASAP.. so PLEASE HELP ME..

transmissions are a thing you need to understand before you work on them.

IF you don;t know much about rebuilding a transmission, dont attempt it. If you want to do something yourself it would be easier to just buy a new or used one and swap in, still a bit of work though. Especially with how every nut and bolt rusts on a honda.

well i havent rebuilt one before.. its something i wanna do.. so that way i can have experience in that and ill be able to do it an not pay someone to or have to go buy one.. what do you guys think? maybe just buy a new one or something put that in and then use my old one and experiment with it?!?!? well thanks for yalls help.. but i mean do you guys know where i can get a book that will help me out in understanding how to do it? so i can get that so i can understand all of that..

I dont think they sell books on it, you probably have to go to school to learn.

wel i called the local honda dealership here. and talked to the service deptment and they told me to go to like napa, advanced auto or autozone and they should have a book on that for me.... so yea.. thats why i was wondering if you guys knew anything..

yeah car parts places have books on that..dont mean itll be easy to understand but yes trannys can get very complicated specially automatics

thanks.. yea i called napa and they dont have a tanny one but they have one for my engine.. so yea.. what do you think??

Buying a new one and swapping it then using your old tranny to tinker and practice on would be a great idea. Try checking your library for automotive textbooks, theres usually one or two.

you need to get on to michel on demand or something of that sort. you might be able to get on something at your local library. i did a trans rebuild 6 months ago. right now my car stuck in third gear. so definitly double and triple check your self. one thing i forgot was to locktight the internal bolts.
