I agree...I was totally surprised at that and the fact that it doesn't leak a drop of oil, yet the previous owner managed to get it repoed, ding the hell out of it, never wax it, and disconnect/bust (i can't tell which yet...i need to get my hands on a voltmeter) all the speakers but one.

I'm happy though.

 

well as long as its ben taken care of mechanicaly regularly it should be preaty clean... also depends when the driver actualy drove the car... my grandpas car he had was almost brand new clean under the hood! cause he never d rove in the rain ...
but then thiers my other grandpa which his car was HORIBLE!!!!!!! leaked every fluid... hit every curb repeatedly and NEVER cleaned the interior!!!!!!!

 

From the way you talked about it's abuse, I'm pleasantly surprised at the pics. It cleaned up real nice. That's EXACTLY how mine started out except mine is black of course... Happy modding and welcome to the forum...

 

Man, you hit the jackpot with that little Civic. At 16, that thing will be loads of fun for you (but, uh, not too much fun, of course). I'd almost be jealous if it weren't for the gem I bought myself a week ago (my 00' EX)
