Default hey, i just purchased 2005 civic EX

i've just purchased 2005 model civic EX sedan.
however, it's automatic, not stick shift...i wanted to buy and stick shift, but things just didnt work out.
i was wondering if i still can turbo/supercharge automatic car...n would it be as same as stick shift???
also, i've heard from some people that supercharge works better w/ v-tec...is that true??
im very new to tuning up my car, but i wanna learn lil by lil with the civic that i just purchased.
if you guys can help me out with some information how to tune up a car, that'd b great!!!

You're motor is one best left with i/h/e setup and no boost......they don't respond well to mods and it will take a whoolllleee lot of cash to make an auto 05 ex a quick car. Other than that welcome! We all were new to tuning at one time so don't be afraid to ask questions, you'll get answers quick on here. Very knowlegable people

I concur about the said above, unfortunatly though, no one makes a supersharger because of the way the motor is set up.

hmm...iCz iCz, thank you for the information...i knew it would be a prob with my transmission but i had no choice back then. However, is there another way for me to raise the horsepower and such for my car then??? such as exhaust and cold intake system and such...and would they be expensive for an automatic car??? like i said, im new to this...so if i sound stupid, hope u guys dont laugh at me...haha thank you for the replies though~

Unless you are willing to go all out and spend the extensive amount of money(read $5k+) to do the job correctly, don't bother. IHE and tighten up the suspension, it'll give it a little more hp and make driving a lot more fun.

Agreed with above. Suspension mods are really underrated!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome! Your basic bolt-ons won't cost you more just b/c you have an auto.

what would be the basic step for the mods??? i mean...lets say im not gonna go all the way to turbo charger...however, as far as I/H/E, what do i have to do first and in what order is the best??
