Default hey people

i just bought my first honda last weekend! totally stoked. 2007 civic lx sedan, black, manual. i'm new to hondas, and i'm *definitely* new to car modifications of any sort. i must say that after perusing this forum i've already got the mod bug! my only problem is that i bought a certified pre-owned w/ the extended warranty, and i don't want to void most aspects of it. suggestions on where to start until the warranty runs out? i guess just minor cosmetic stuff.

at any rate, thanks for such a great forum! looking forward to reading and learning more...

Welcome. You can modify to your heart's content, or at least to the reach of your skills and wallet. The burden is on the dealership to prove that your modification directly led to the failure of Part X. The Magnussen Moss Warranty Act is your friend. It's always best to start off small though. I've modified a lot of 4x4's, but am new to Hondas and don't have any impressive plans for my Civic.

welcome to HCF. if you don't want to void that warranty start with appearance mods and when it expires then do some engine mods.

Get a lip kit, some wheels, tint, and maybe a carbon fiber hood. That should get you started, and not void your warranty. Welcome to the forum, and let's see some pics!

You have an '07 Civic... I'd say that's worthy enough to post pics of right there... Let's see it!
