Hi Everyone. Don't 'RICE IT'

[font="Courier New"]Hi everyone. New here and I'm a new civic owner. LOL. We were actually looking for a NAPZ but ended up with a Civic. SO HAPPY! So far its been fun to drive. My BF and I were former toyota and nissan drivers.

Well, the first advice we got was to not "RICE" it up. If anyone can clarfiy that for me that would be great.

A little about my car well- it is a 93 civic, manual transmission. It is a rebuilt engine - and I think the only mod the pervious owner did was to the exhaust. Whatever we put into the car I want to know whats it purpose. LOL. We are new to this so we are just trying to get as much civic knowlegde as we can before we do anything to the car so if anyone can give some great tips or basic engine mods that would be great.

Sorry if this is long but thanks for reading! :)

welcome this the best forum for civics!!! you'll learn alot here. first mods to always look into is intake/headers/exhaust. as far as not "ricing" it out, just means, don't put stickers, huge spoilers and make it look corny when you dont know what you're doing or just making it look like you have stuff done to it. being a fake is what ricing is
