Seriously though.. You want a civic. We are all civic lovers and its most of our passion to make our cars better. Coming in here saying our passion is worthless is going to draw negative criticsm. Civics CAN be fast. Hotrods CAN be fast. simple as that.

hahahaha, that was fun. You know what guys/gals, I have an idea. Next weekend there is a rodeo and Im going. To have fun, I'm going to walk up to every cowboy there, and tell them how stupid cowboys are, how they wear really funny clothes, and that those hats they wear, are completely hideous. Do you think I'd make alot of friends? Naw, probably get beat to a bloody mess. Nikki lets get something straight, you think that spending 7500 for a car that runs 12's is a waste of money?? Let's put it this way dear, there is no car stock that runs 12's that you can buy for ANYWHERE close to 7500 bucks. Can a civic do 12's stock, OF COURSE NOT, but you take 7500 bucks, I take 7500 bucks, I will build a faster, more reliable car than you. And your comments about the 350Z are even more hilarious, do you have any idea how much a stock 350 costs?? If a civic owner put that amount of money into there car, OMG it would destroy the 350z without looking back. My civic will be a hot rod, AND an economy car, because with the adjustment of something called "TECHNOLOGY" I can adjust its power output in about 5 seconds. And the great thing is, I don't have to let it sit in a garage 340 days out of the year, tell your dad to drive his car around daily and see how long it lasts. I'm not even going to argue with you about what cars are faster, we could argue till the end of time. You came to the wrong place, with the wrong message. You already have your mind made up about civics(what they are good for, etc.) so why would you even join? You are a PRE-PROGRAMMED teenager, if your daddy built supras/skylines to race instead of steel tanks, you would have a very different opinion. Your opinions come from seeing only one side of things. So IMO you are an Idiot ditz and I feel sorry for you, Thanks for stopping by, now get the **** out of here.

Sorry forgot one thing, how can your dad make a 2000 SS camero run 11's with under 7500 bucks?? How much do you think the initial cost was JUST for the vehicle itself?? Alot more than we'll have in our rides altogether WITH mods. Good day!

baaa ahahaha, BURN!

i dont give a crap about how well it turns
Stupidest.....statement.......EVER! What is the total cost of your dad's car? I'm talking the car itself, and all the mods (just ball park it). I'm guessing what, like around 17,000 if he bought the car new. For 17,000 dollars, anyone on this forum could build a civic that would destroy the camaro. end of story

Look ~nikki~ everyone here gave you a chance in the first few threads you posted in, but it just doesnt seem to be working out. You are far too persistent about trying to prove to us that our cars don't have potential, which is THE most rediculous thing i've ever heard.

People.......people......people! Please don't be too hard on ~nikki~, and please don't force her to leave HCF. After all, it's not her fault that she hates Civics, and it's our HCF duty to inform her about real life situations so that she may learn more about these great cars. Sure, she can dream, and think that Civics are garbage, but please don't hold it against a 16 year old girl, because dreams are what this world is made of.

haha that sums it all up right there.

350zs cost at least 25k..if i took 25k, bought a civic, and modded it with the money left over, i could sit at the starting line for five seconds spooling up and it still would see my tails before the end of the run

so we have to start name calling like we're in second grade again? sorry, but don't expect me to stoop down to that level. you call me an idiot because of what? i think it's a waste of money to make a civic fast and think it's easier to just take a car that is ALREADY FAST and make it a lot faster.

saying you want my dad to drive his DRAG CAR as a daily driver is like saying to someone to drive their top fuel drag car back and forth to work everyday, it doesn't make sense because it's not set up for that. i dont know where you get the idea that 350s are not reliable, as i said a few times before, 350s are one of the MOST reliable engines out there. they've been around forever.

he bought the car brand new for $25,000. and with all the mods he has the total cost is still under $30,000.... so yeah, you can buy a civic for half that and spend the rest in mods, but in the end, it's still just a honda civic. you wouldnt be impressed by a geo metro that runs 10s, so whats the difference in a civic? none. both are cheap gas saving cars and will never be hot rods..... is $30,000 a lot of money to you? sure it is, but it's not to someone who owns their own shop. if he was on a budget like you guys then he could of bought a used lt1 for about $4,000 and put about $2,000 into the motor and would be into the 12s.... now show me a civic that can run 12s for $6,000 including the price of the car

its obviously that we arent getting along here. nothing you say will get me to change my mind about how i feel about hondas, and nothing i say will make me change your mind, and that's okay because that's what having an opinion is all about... so lets just stop arguing because it's getting us no where. we pretty much got our point across.

hmm..this turned ugly...

for the record, quickly, my car (not a civic) runs mid to low 12s, with slips, and was a daily driver until i moved into the city...
