hi! and help?
Hello everyone! I have a 2000 Civic LX that I adore. I'm obviously new to the forum, so hello! Hope you are all having wonderful Thursdays.
I also am in need of some help. I'm actually not very car savvy at all, really. I might try posting this part in another topic area, too. Here's my isssue: I have a single CD player/stereo (I think from the manufacturer--it was in the car when I bought it). Normally this suites my needs just fine, but I had a new battery put in my Civic recently. Putting in the battery must have reset my cd/stereo system. Now if I try to turn it on I get a screen reading of "code _____," which I've figured out means I'm supposed to put a code in. I can put in a series of four numbers by using the radio programmed station buttons, but I don't know the code, because I bought my car with it in already. This whole ordeal is rather bizarre, because my clock is still the correct time. Any suggestions? Reading the manual only tells me to contact my Honda dealer, but I'm pretty sure I can handle this without them. Any help, links, or redirection (sorry if this is poor forum manners, putting it here!), would be extremely appreciated!
Thanks, and good to meet you!
