Hi there all!
hi there, my name is daniel and i live in sydney, australia and i own a 1991 mazda astina SP (323), so i guess i dont really belong here... [8D]
but i was test driving a civic for my friend a few days ago (1998, manual, GLi sedan with 2" cannon i think, white dials and a sound system) and ive just started uni this year, but sometime i hope to get a civic similar to it cause it was soo cool! (i like the 1999 sedan shape with no black plastic protectors on the bumpers) but hopefully a VTi version (i dont know if u call it that in US?)-it has the vtec engine with 118 kw supposedly.
so i joined to hopefully get some more information on them (reviews, how expensive parts are to get, what mods u guys have done, maybe find an aussie civic site..)
thanks, dan

RE: Hi there all!
what sort of problems have you found with that model? are parts for hondas more expensive to get (i suppose it would depend as i live in australia..)?
and what do ppl think about the power differences between vti (kw? 1.6L vtec sohc) and vti-r (hatch only, 118kw, 1.6L vtec dohc)? is it worth going for the extra power? cause i like the idea of more praticality of 4 door..
thanks heaps guys!!
