I hear a squeaky noise coming from the point where the Splines get into the transmission, and it is on the front driver side. When I spin the the rotor forward the sound is less than spinning it backward. Also, I would like to know if it is ok. to drive the car. Any help please.

I am so sorry for not reporting that I got the issue resolved. At the beginning I was inspecting the car with the tire removed and spinning the rotor, then I decided to remove the caliper to get a better assessment. So, I found that the break pads were done and it was the cause of the noise.
