Hi Everyone!
Very proud, very happy owner of a white 2018 Civic LX Coupe with the 6 speed stick.
For years I was a loyal Hyundai driver. Of course on my budget I didn't have too many options, but I felt that even if I had more money to spend I'd stick with Hyundai because they were such a good value. And for a good while they were. Then I got a lemon. Chronic problems, especially with alignment, that were never resolved, and the car died for good two months before it was paid off. This time I gave Honda a try, and got a Fit. Right away I missed driving a stick (there were no sticks available and I didn't have time to wait) but the CVT was much better than I thought it would be. And the rest of the car? Loved it. Great interior, plenty of space, incredible mileage, and best of all a feeling of solidity and quality that I had never had in any of my Hyundais. Eventually I missed driving a stick enough to start looking around, and when I saw the Civic Coupe and realized it was in my budget, well, that was that.
Driving entry level cars means compromising on something. The Civic doesn't feel like I'm compromising anything. It rides beautifully, shifts like a dream, gets good mileage, is solid and (hopefully) dependable. It has the features I want and looks like a million. I couldn't be happier.
