Default I cant post in DIY for some reason so..

I own an '04 EX Civic. It's automatic and I want it to be standard. I need to know what parts I need and also how to do it. Also any advice on techniques or any problems I might run into.

Not sure how to do it on 2000+ Civics. I would do a google search and see what comes up. Also, check out honda-tech.com for more info.

You cannot post in the DIY, only admin and mods can. They just move how-to guides which are created into that section for people to reference as needed.

The DIY section is for guides only, not for questions on how to do something. Im not sure anyone on this forum has done that swap...

Anyway, I did fidn a guide for an 03 auto>manual swap. I assume it would be almost the same, right?

Pretty much. The parts list would be very similar. Pedals, transmission, clutch lines/MC/SC, linkage, shifter, computer, maybe gauge cluster. The wiring is going to be the tricky part.

Yeah I planned on getting a manual gauge cluster and harness. Also wiring reverse to the reverse lights would prove to be difficult as well. Im sure it will turn out to be a 2-3 day project, not including obtaining the parts.
