Hi everyone,

I just bought a 07 black civic ex with navigation. I absolutely love everything about this car (even though I paid MSRP [:'(]! ) From handling, to comfort, to MPG, it beats many of its competitors. I used to have an American car and had tons of problems. I have no problem driving this civic even though my old car had a v8 with 305hp. With such a downgrade in power and still loving the civic, that tells you something!

Anyway, I've noticed a couple little things on the civic and am wondering if its normal:

1. the buttons on my steering wheel don't light up very bright. They are definitely on and I can see them at night, but it's so much darker compared to the rest of the buttons on the actual panel. Is this normal?

2. There's air coming out out of the vent (just a little tiny bit) even when the A/C is OFF. The fan isn't on because I can't hear it, but I can still feel a little bit of air coming out and I have to press the windshield button to make the air go there so I don't feel anything. Is this normal??

As far as the lighting on the buttons.. I don't know. but the air coming out of the vents when the fan is off happen in my car too. I think it is because hot air that the engine puts off finds its way to creep through the vents into the car. Im not 100% sure about that but it's my theory.

Yesterday, I drop off my (old) 2006 Chrysler 300 Black and took delivery of a 2007 Black Honda Civic EX 4 dr with sunroof and I am very happy wth it.

This morning, driving around while it was still dark, I notice the same thing you did on the cruise control buttons, that the lighting was much dimmer then the dash lighting...I guess it is just the way it is.

the controls on the steering wheel are normal, so is the air coming out of the car. it has happened to every civic that i have test driven with a customer and they all ask the same thing... it happens to my car too
