Welcome to HCF. Thanks for reminding me of that $100 loss. Worst stinkin' fight I have ever seen. It didn't even look like Gracie was trying. I wonder how much they paid him off to throw that fight? To blemish the Gracie name and instantly turn Hughes in to a legend. Hughes is the UFC golden boy and Dana White is gonna ride him for all he's worth; even if that means fixing fights for him. I lost a little respect for the UFC that night.

sniper you are so full of it no way gracie threw that fight, hes just old, and he was out the ring too long so thats what he gets.

There's no way gracie threw the fight
A: He doesn't need the money
B: He's fought 5 times in the last 6 years..
C: He only WON 2 of those fights.
D: Prior to his 2000 Pride fight he hadn't been fought since 1995 (At UFC5!)
Sure, Gracie Has/Had skills, but he's like Ken Shamrock, an old gladiator in a new game. His time has come and gone.
