I'm new & need advice on possible purchase of 04 EX salvaged

Wsup all~
I'm gonna be checking out a 04 civic EX with salvaged title tomorow and I need some advice on what I should do. I might purchase the car because the price is really hard to resist. The only thing that's holding me back is the SALVAGED title. I believe the car was hit on the fender of the driver side, but I do not know how bad the damage was although it has been repaired. Could u guys give me some advice on what to look for when I check out the car tomorow? ANY ADVICE WILL HELP ME OUT A LOT! I really hope to hear some feedbacks by tonight:D

welcome to the forum. depending on the damage, i would say go for it. make sure that the frame isn't jacked. make sure that the bags are good too. basically, just make sure that you're not going to put more into fixing it than it's worth. check out the damage and get some pics if you can and we can go from there. good luck!

Look ivery closely at the shock towers under the hood, stand in front of it and look whether the wheels look to be in an unnatural position or not in accord with one another. Test drive it: on a very good road and try to feel if it shackes or any other signs of the chassis alignment being off. If it feels noticably off don't get it, you'll end up with an unsafe ride. Try to go to the dealer an hour prior and test drive a clean 04 EX just to see how it SHOULD feel. That's how I do it...and there's a lot of other things to look for, but these are the most obvious things to do.

Some salvage cars are great. Sometimes a perfectly good car gets written off by insurance only because there's a lot of cosmetic damage.
