hey guys im 15, all be 16 in about a month i got a 96" honda civic ex this week it is in super good condition the paint is one month old, the bumper, hood, skirts, rear bumper and passenger door are all brand new they were replaced with stock parts but its all good im wondering should i even mod the ex cause it only has around 127 hp with the d16z7 engine in it if i was to mod it i would probley only get rims, cold air intake, catback exhaust and a hi-flow header am i on the right track

I'm also 16 and I have a '96 EX coupe!
and BTW we have the D16Y8 engine

oh ya i just saw a site and it said that a 96-00 has a d17 but im sure your right lol thanks for telling me now i wont look like a dumb *** anymore

OH and hey solid do you know about how much hp that motor has i cant find any specs on it on the web

the d16z6 and d16y8 motors are very similar, main difference being that the y8 comes in obd2. You have roughly 130hp at the crank. 100ish to the wheels. I/H/E is a good start. OEM Bumpers
