Hi, i just moved to Florida and realized that my black/black 2000 eclipse wont cut it down here in the heat.. so im curious, since i want to buy a civic, and i been looking at the model range from i think 98-2000 ? same body style ? but my questions is what package should i be looking for ( granite i know si is what people will say ) but between the lx, dx, ex coupes.. what r the differences ? if ne 1 can help me out with a website with specification and features it will help me jump on my civic buy very soon. thanks

 

first off welcome to the forum...and if your not gunna get the si...id say get an EX...d16y8 SOHC vtec motor...127 hp...umm..i dont know weight specs or anything..someone else will be able to add more

 

we will have to see what my ecplise will bring me $ wise with 45k miles on it.. that will let me know what i can afford off the bat.. if i cant do the SI then i wanted next best thing

welcome. and if you want the next best thing, get a 5th gen (because of price) and swap it for the si engine.
