Hey everyone, I just bought a '00 Civic EX that's been lowered and has 17" rims. Could anybody tell me by looking at the picture by how much it's been lowered?

car looks nice man, good buy..its kinda hard to tell by a pic, i would say 2 inchs in the back, almost 2 inches in the front, its looks a little lower then mine and im about 1.8

 

nice find! i would keep the ride height right where it is at. it looks so sexy where it sits right now. i also like those aftermarket rims. what are you going to do first to it?

Thanks for the info, I'm really a newbie when it comes to modding out cars, but I couldn't resist this when I saw it. I'm thinking of eventually upgrading the exhaust, and adding a less restrictive air intake. I paid $7500 for it with 88k miles down in Atlanta.

 

I'd say it's lowered "too much", haha... probably 3 inches. how is the ride quality? any idea what kind of suspension is on there?

 

hmm, i agree with mxs... its lowered an inch too much.

 

Take a pic of the strut/spring combo........we will be able to tell u if you got something good. Suspension is hit or miss.......its going to be a good setup, or a horrible setup.

 

I have no idea what kind of suspension is on there. I did have this car checked out by Pep Boys before I bought it, and they said there were no problems with it. Does this picture help?

 

The ride, honestly, is pretty bumpy, but I figure that's the price I pay for 17's on a car that's lowered that much. The handling is excellent.
