Default Just bought a 93 vx for $2,000

Hey I'm new here.

Just found a sweet deel down the street from me. A completely rust free white (car was garaged) 93 vx with 97k on it. Just needed an axle boot and two front tires. Never had a timing belt replaced so this will be done soon (however, in the manual its says recomended to replace at 90k-- what do you guys think) This is going to be my daily driver, city beater. Car is clean inside and out (bumpers a little scratched up and needs a good wax). Female driven. I found it 15 min. after the for sale sign went up. She was asking 2400, and she took 2,000 for it. I plan on keeping this car bone stock and just using as a city driver for great fuel economy. Well not exactly-- I put a grounding kit on it, and am going to start using syn oil in it. It also has some aftermarket speakers.... but other than that its staying stock...

Here she is (taken with a bad low res. camera)

Here is my other (project) car. Don't be hatin' the nissan....

vx will be there soon.

Honda generally makes good advice on changing out parts. Get the timing belt changed ASAP and a new water pump will help you too.

the water pump usually take a **** at the same time as the belts... get that done asap or you will regret it! those belts can snap at any moment

Ok, going to change timing belt, but if the water pump goes bad can't I just fix that later or will that cause other problems???
