Default Just recently purchased an old beat up HX

Hey guys, just got a 98 HX last month... Picked it up for gas mileage. Had 130K on it. Not fast or pretty to look at, but I love driving it(rides better than my evo). I have a ton of questions for you guys!

Love the HX rims. Those are super light weight and highly sought after on the Honda world.

Welcome to HCF

the Civic doesn't look too bad. Hx rims are highly sought after they range from 250-350. Most people end up painting them.

Any plans for the civic? or is it staying stock?

Yeah, the ones I saw were bronze. Just really trying to get everthing up to snuff maintenence wise... Last owners didn't take much care of it outside of oil changes. They said they changed the timing belt at 95K. It will mostly stay stock except for some new door speakers and 6 x 9's. I also wanted to put cruise control on it... Some guy said he had never seen it done due to the CVT. Just want really good gas mileage out of it. It's only getting about 30 mpg now. Seems a bit low to me.
