Look out
Just found this so here I am. Just bought a 06 Civic LX 4dr AT last friday 330 miles so far. Last Civic I had was a 92 VX when I sold it it had 178000 got great mpg it was just a commuter car for work about 144 miles round trip. Sold it an bought a VW NB TDI which got great mpg. My wife has had a few Honda's starting with the 81 Civic she had to the 03 Accord EX she has now says her next one will be the Honda Pilot. They have really improved these Civic's over the years. I don't think this Civic will get the mpg the VW got but it ought to be close. I can squeeze ever drop of gas out of one for mpg so I will keep you posted. I am a member of some Harley Davidson forums and Dodge/Cummins forums so that light bulb came on in my head and I thought there ought to be some forums on the Civic so I is here.
