RE: Mod Advice???
how many miles? if you have the money, an engine swap is always a great idea, and after that you could look into an intake, header, exhaust, or even a intake manifold, other, non-performance mods are, wheels, tires, window tint, car alarm, sound system, springs to lower the car, radar system for the lead foots, straut bar and shocks, i hope this helped ya out

RE: Mod Advice???
i'm not to sure on your v tec controller question, i'm sure somebody smart will drop by to help ya out, 130k-150k is a good amount, is this on the car or the new engine? the problem is, even if the body is in good shape, and you get a new motor, all the other parts of the car have 130k-150k miles on them, if you get what i'm saying

RE: Mod Advice???
you could get the 130k-150k car, but i wouldn't recomend running that too hard, 80k and lower would be a really smart move, but you said the bodys in nice shape, how about all the main parts, or are they worn?

RE: Mod Advice???
Here are two "good ideas" imo...
1 - fine a decent body, with really high miles (or blown motor) and buy it CHEAP. Then, swap the motor, upgrade the suspension and brakes, and you'll have a serious street machine for like $7000 (or less)
OR
2 - Find a car in good shape with moderately low miles. Hondas run for a LOOOOOONG time, so don't be too scared away by 100k cars. As long as they've been taken care of, had the necessary up keep things done to it, it should be fine.
Hope this helps!!

I wouldnt even say it has to be "really babied" As long as it wasnt worked over by some 16 yr old punk *** it should be fine. It all depends on what hes looking to do with the car. Reliable daily driver with *****, full drag, auto x...
