Default My first civic

I will be picking up my first honda civic today and I'm just wondering what you guys think about it

I've always been into muscle cars and trucks but I'm going to college and decided the 43 mpgs ill be getting in this is better than the 12 I get in my 72 Skylark....
So what do you guys think?

Holy Orange! lol j/k. It really doesn't look too bad. Wheels might be a little too big IMO, but it looks clean from the two pics.

43mpg? That's impressive.
I am assuming that the motor is completely stock? How much are you buying it for?

I think 43 mpg is a little overly optimistic. Get smaller wheels and you'll see the gas mileage improve.

Welcome to HCF. I like the orange, but black rims would look better

thanks guys....I'm paying 2500 for it...it has a completely stock motor...I was thinking the same with the black rims, I might just powercoat them when I get it...it has 115,000 miles, 5-speed w/new clutch...thanks for your feedback...i just don't want to look like a "ricer"

Change your user name to "punkin", suits the orange better. I orange but stands out a bit much, people remember if it you know what I mean.

Welcome

Eh.. even if you're standing out for a good reason, it can have ups and downs. lol if you get black rims, you'll be rockin' the Halloween-mobile!

if you want better milage put some stock steelies on it.... i lost ruffly 2-4mpg when i put on my old 17s on my civic! that extra weight and wider traction area just creates more drag

IMO from past experience im going with 15s at the largest wheels. way better ride quality for daily driving!
17s are nice but when that chuck hole or speed bump pops up infront of you you have KILLER NERVES like O CRAP HOPE MY WHEELS OK!

i'm linking that orange, maybe if it was a little bit darker orange it would look nicer, 16" black rims with polish lip would do good. great pick up and welcome to HCF
