Whats up everyone! Name is matt and I just bought a 1992 civic hatchback with the 1.5 motor! I do not know to much about hondas as this is my first one! I know that the car has a short shifter, exhaust, intake, euro tail lights, and a comp. clutch! The past owner did have the car turbocharged but took the turbo off, he did tell me the motor was built for a turbo! I call this my project car cuz this is the car I will be driving daily, and during the winter! My good car (my baby) is a 2003 SVT FOCUS with the euro package! (pics below) Just wanted to say whats up and hope to get some helpful info. on this site.

If anyone has some helpful hints as to what should be done first (as far as mods go) it would help a lot! Also my first question is what is the best honda motor? H22? Help me out!

WELCOME! u've come to the right place! u'll find all the help u need here, try the search engine too, should be able to find what ur looking for but if not just post up. a very popular and real good engine that ppl are swaping is the K20. nice focus.

 

it depends on your budget, i good motor is a B16 if money is tight, but im a fan of the B18 motors cause i love integras, just cant afford one. if your motor is built for turbo why dont you put on a turbo, and if its built for turbo you can push some good boost and blow a lot of cars of the road.

 

u dont wanne go whit a h22 its gonne way the front of the car town to mutsh go whit a b18c5c or b18c1c or if u planing on getting a turbo a b18b thats the non v tech of the b18c whitch is what u want whit a turbo eny non v tech motor but if u planing on gonin all motor b18c gonne be the best motor u can put in there
