Cool n00b here to the site

Just bought a new project.... 1993 Honda Civic EX. Pretty good shape, gives me something to tinker with thru-out the winter. Can't complain I only paid $600 for it!

Plans include F22 swap perhaps even boost. Any suggestions on which tranny to use, that can handle boost nicely? Nothing to extreme right around 300 -350whp is the goal.

Any help and/or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to HCF. Enjoy your stay here.

Any reason why your going with a F22 and not something of equal power but easier to swap in?

Post No reason

I like to be different then your everyday Honda Civic stuffed with a B-Series, H-Series, or D-Series motor. Besides the F22a is awesome for NA if I decide to not go the boost route.

I have a H22A4 in the garage as we speak, has a spun main rod bearing, I have thought about jus starting there. Can't make up my mind.

Is there a nice tranny to mount up to a F-Series?

Once again your input and advice is appreciated!
