Need answer for this question please

Hi, im new to the community and I just bought myself an 01 Honda Civic LX (srry if it isn't si or EX :p) anyways the other day I saw a honda civic around my friend's neighborhood and I could hear his car everytime he shifted like when he shifts you hear the car go
qshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh really loud and I wanted to know what made that sound I'm guessing if it's the cold air intake I don't know much that's why im asking this question because I want my car to sound like that. Thanks

Cold air intakes dont make noise like that. Chances are it was a turbo civic.

Is there a specific type of turbo that makes that noise or is it any kind and what type of turbo is best for a honda. Thanks for responding:)
