Default Need help with my civic

Hey all, I am in a sort of a problem. Well first off, I bought a '00 honda civic a couple weeks ago and was told it was a VP. Well when I go look for parts and stuff, all i come across is CX, DX, EX, LX, HX, SI ect. I never see VP which is what mine is. Is the VP the same as any of those others? Im confused. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have a VP too. To answer you question, it is a DX with the 1.6 liter D16Y7 engine. VP stands for "Value Package". To me, it is a no frills got some stuff Honda that is ready to roll with mods.

Oh and welcome to the forum!!!!

So when I look for parts, I should get ones that are under DX? Thanks for helping and the welcome!

Yes/and no. It depends on what you need. Go to ebay and do a search. Type in this: 99-00 civic . That is the generation of our civics. They are all the same except there are variations here and there.
