I'm leaning more towards the red i just have to wait a little while before i'll have enough to send it in and it will work better once i'm done with school here in a couple weeks anyway. I'm really undecided on what i should get in terms of lowering it. there is a lot to choose from and i have little to no knowledge on the brands of coilovers, shocks, springs, etc. and what the nicest things to get for someone who doesn't pay outrageous amounts for things but i like quality parts that will be worth it.

KYB AGX shocks are a really good value set of shocks/struts.

Springs are less expensive than coilovers and easier to install. Coilovers aren't necessarily "better" because they're more expensive. Coilovers are ride height adjustable, springs aren't. If you don't need to adjust the height after it is lowered, then get springs.

I recommend H&R Sport Springs. Almost a 2" drop, and they're only $190 shipped on ebay.

I'll look into those, I really don't need to adjust the height of them. Back to the paint, if i end up keeping the paint red, I should buy the lip first correct? Unless a black lip looks good on a red car, I wouldn't really know.

Yea, get the lip first. you'll want it all paint matched.

Yea paint the lip the same color as the body. B.c your side skirts r red, a black lip IMO will look strange. I think that ud be ok with just regular springs. its cheaper and you can get a good drop with them. But be careful, too much of a drop and you'll need a camber kit. And another factor to take into consideration is speed bumps, if you lower it too much, youll have to hit them at an angle because ur lip might get torn off.

I doubt he's going to lower it to the point where he has more than -3º or so of camber.

I don't plan on lowering it to the point where its too much trouble for what its worth, two inches or so shouldn't be too much for how tall my car rides now.

Here's my honest opinion,
You said you like to see what other people's opinions are before you go with your gut feeling.
I have learned.....always go with your gut feeling.
If this is going to be a project for you, take your time.
Do research on parts you may like. Take it bit by bit.
Leave the dam car red
My father is an auto body specialist and black paint jobs are pains in the rear end.
Having to remove the doors and trunk and hood and then spraying the bay will add a helluva lot to the cost of the spray job.
Do what you like, just don't make it RICEY.
meaning....no huge spoilers, over extravagant bodykits, a million an one lights that it looks like a dam ufo. What I have found with civics is, simple is elegant.
A simple lip kit would do nicely.
The rims you have are nice. Once you drop the car they will really bring it out.
And as far as fogs go....that's on you.
10 people may come on this thread and each one gives a different opinion.
That leaves you back to square one.
Remember grasshopper.....Patience is a virtue....Good things come to those that wait.

OHH and stickers don't add HP

Believe me there isn't one thing i hate more than riced out civics. For the body itself i only want a nice and simple front lip, type r maybe... I will never put a spoiler on this car even though i've had them basically handed to me lol. But i'd have to say i'm jealous of the kid at my high school with his hatchback eg with chopped springs and a shocker sticker as big as the back window itself...
