Hello everyone. I bought my new civic six months ago and i love it. It's my first Honda and my first new car. I'm posting to meet other new civic owners to find out if they are getting the gas mileage Honda claims we should get. With a combination of 60% city and 40% highway driving, I'm not even getting 30 MPG. Honda claims 30 city 40 highway. What are you getting?

 

my honda isnt new but its my first honda...havent really paid much attention to gas mileage but its my daily driver and im good with 15 bucks a week for gas considering what gas prices are these days[8D]

 

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum! I still get 38-40mpg on the highway in my '95if I keep it around 65-70mph. Anything over that and gas mileage starts to suffer quite a bit...

 

i run a 98 sedan and im good with bout 20 bux/wk. i keep it in the citys fishnet roads though
