I just traded my 240sx for a 01 civic to be my daily . Im here to see what civics are all about. Its got a b&m shifter and a set of eibach Sportline springs not installed and im looking for a set of struts that would work good with them. I drive 50 to a 100 miles a day so i dont want any thing too hard softer the better which would give a good ride still. any help at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks
if you're lowered you're going to want tokico illuminas or KYB AGX if those are the two brands you're looking at.
I've heard a lot of stories of people being lowered a lot on the blues or gr2's and blowing the shocks. I'd get the AGX's, because i've heard bad things about the illumina's adjustment **** breaking off.
The struts won't have anything to do with rubbing. That depends on the wheels' offset and how low you are. If your 17" wheels aren't the right offset (+42), you'll probably rub while lowered and you'll have to roll the fenders.
