I am the satisfied owner of a 01 LX that I inherited from my dad 2 years ago. It now has a whopping 55k on it and has been a truly trouble free car. Also " bulletproof" as I was in a three vehicle chain reaction crash where a F-150 smashed into another F-150'who was slammed into me at an on ramp. My rear bumper cover looks like a bicycle hit it.

While my senior citizen dad put some scrapes , scratches and ran over a few parking blocks ( the air dam underneath is now held on with zip ties ) , it is a great running little car that gets me 38 mpg on the highway. Sure , everybody blows past me doing 75 plus but I get there without the rush or stress and don't push the 1.7 hardly at all.
