I understand that about the opinions. People have different taste. Like you said you will have the wanna bes who will put all the decals of brands they dont have and make their car look trashy. Decals are alright but limit yourself and do it tastefully. me personally are not a fan of decals cept maybe the clubcivic decal im thinking about purchasing and im even hesistant on that. I now have my grill, oem fogs, and HID HI/LOW 10000K kits and should be getting them installed in about 2 weeks. I have a couple new pics but my car looks the same as the one i posted before but these pics were done better. Be sure to keep checking back to forum so you guys can see the progress. Whether its good or negative feedback once everything is on be sure to tell truth cause if you think something doesnt look right and other agree Ill gladly remove it. Like I said I have pretty good taste in appearance but Ill let you guys be the judge of that. For the record..NO LAMBO DOORS for me.

Ya, man your are gonna have to do at least a little for adding some power to your civic, the stock civic is too slow to even keep up with traffic, you will thank yourself for at least improving the motors' air intake system

erik, i strongly disagree with the too slow for traffic part, or at least for my civic. just to state this now i am NOT a ricer, but do like to race, and i raced a ford 500 down what my town knows as suicide road and i won the race. so i personally do not have the too slow problem with my 96 EX 1.6L SOHC civic. as far as me, im going for looks right now, exhaust, paint, rims, subs.... all that good stuff then im looking to possibly put a 6-spd manual into it. im sitting with a 5-spd manual right now. if you dont think that is such a good idea let me know. im hoping to get some pics up real soon!!!

i mean im new to the civic community but i would say hold off anything motor/tranny wise. I mean a 6 speed on a 1.6..never heard of. If you going to do that do some kind of swap. Not sure of all the motors available but im know there are some powerful honda motors. For me like i said im doing nothign performance. I have another car a cavy z24. It has everything motor done to it imaginable i think cept for forced induction of anykind and its quick enough for me. It turns head..well suprises some people cause body it stock but motor is unbelievable. just wish chevy made a better tranny for that motor. Here is another pic of my civic. All that is done is wheels. But im still sitting here looking at a HI and LOW HID kit conversions, front grill no emblem(waiting to get edge painted color), andOEM fogs(clear lense but not im debating if i should go with the yellow tint???)ANY SUGGESTIONS

i agree with the OP if he doesnt want any performance mods then go for it. Ihave a stock 92hp motor in mine...im not gonna bother with anything other than appearance id like to keep my 38mpg city...if any performance mods it will be trying to hit 40mpg just so i have a bigger grin at the gas station. But my need for power has been quenched by my 02 330ci or my 81 z28 383. i just like to cruise with the civic...maybe one day ill do a motor swap and then play though....maybe
