Another thing i forgot to mention in checking which engine you have is where the spark plug wires are running to from the distributor. In a D16, the wires run un into the spark plugs mounted at the front of the engine. in a B16 the wires run up to the middle of the valve cover. Ps. If you had the B16, ur civic would be more than a peppey little car.
