Default New to the forum!

I'm new to the forum and to car mods in general. I own a silver 98 civic ex 4d auto. Just asking for suggestions about what to do to my car. Is it worth it to work on an auto in the first place? A couple of my friends drive some quick cars and I just want to keep up...or make it look like i can, HA. I've been looking at the megan racing cat-back, looks and sounds nice and not too expensive. Not too much money to spend either. So pretty much just looking for suggestions and basic info about what i should do to my civ. BTW, this is an awesome forum, seems very helpful and friendly!

Welcome. I would first start with an intake, headers, and exhaust. I reccommend magnaflow.

So it sounds like I/H/E is the popular answer. Should i get those in that order? Any suggestions for brands? I think i'm pretty much sold on the megan racing cat, seen plenty of good reviews about it and i like the deep sound. Thanks for your replies and yes skytanker2003, i realize i fall into the same category as many others, thanks for the aknowledgement.

Didn't mean it as a put down, just that a lot of members (me included) are financially challenged when it comes to modding and it's a wierd kind of irony that what money I do make......Goes into my car[sm=headbang.gif] I think it's an addiction!
