how could i forget, the best thing you could do to go really fast with a few g's for a budget would be to put a b series in that beast with a hasport motor mount kit. that would be the best because every part imaginable is availible for that engine and it would satisfy your go fast needs.

i just noticed you had a saturn sl2, what did you have done to it? i work at a daturn dealer

 

i had it gutted and dropped with a racing seat. as far as engine i had no a/c or heater parts like no a/c control, compressor, heater blower, and heater core plus all a/c piping and hoses. i was running a smaller belt the one with no a/c or power steering for track only and put the other for daily with ps. i had obx header running open with no cat no muff. and port heads with a ported tb with a cold air intake and functional hood scoops. i had denso irdium plugs with 9.3 accel wires and napa echlin coil packs. had a adjustable fuel pressure reg. and some vaccum hoses blocked off. plus i had retarded and advanced my cams for track only. nothing big just basic bolt ons running high 14's NHRA conversion here at my home town El Paso, Texas mid 15's. oh yea and it was automatic got photos but dont know were to post on this site. if intersted. oh plus it had back bumper drag holes to losen up the drag. i love satty's and plan on getting another sl2 91-95 to drag and garentee 11's.
