Default New guy

Hi everybody. I just wanted to join a forum so I could learn more about my ride.
I have a civic with a Jspec B18c5, trans ecm ect. Just been spraying a little nitrous here and there. Time the fill the bottle again.
Since I have invested a few dollars into the thing I was wondering some questions.
What is the stock rev limit. Not accual limit but where I should rev it for long life of the engine? Right now I have only been taking it to 6500-7000 to be safe.
It's a real fun car and I hope to have fun talking to all of you more often.

Yea the car is fun. Its one of my dream cars. It was a trade in at the dealership that I work at so I decided to scoop it up. Then some one told me about how some web site to order one of the engines I wanted. I dont have any pictures right now, but my friend at work signed me up on this forum so I can get ideas for what I should do to the car.

i think redlines at 8500, but 8k-8200 is safe for sure, though peak power is at 8k, so much over that isnt very useful unless it saves a shift in the quarter mile.

Just so you know, B18C5's redline at 8900. They make peak power at 8000.
