Default New guy...

Hello everyone,
91 Civic DX 4dr, D15B2
I just got my 1st Honda and I am stoked. It is 15yrs old but in really good shape. I will put some pics in as soon as I can.
I am planning on squeezin as much as I can out of the stock motor, but Im already saving for a JDM motor(ZC). I want to make it a "sleeper", my wife must not know so shhhhhhh.
Any suggestionsWhat can i do for more HP and TP? Any bolt on stuff?
New pulleys?
Intake?
Exhaust?
Im an old Chevy 350LT convert....
Talk to you all soon.
Russ

i would say go with a good exhaust, also if you wanna freshen up the outside some nice looking rims would set off your dx as well.

welcome to hcf

My wife said I can tune the car, but it must maintain its stock feel.
This weekend I am painting the bumpers and the door strips and the rims. The Rims, I am painting black lo gloss, bumpers and door strips black as well. I painted some stuff under the hood too. pics to follow.
Im gonna shorten the shifter too. Any sources for stock tail light assemblies for this car?
How about any Horsepower parts for the D15B2? Heads, Cams, etc.......

Well as soon as you start modifying it, you willl lose the "stock feel" but yeah i say start with bolt on stuff like intake headers and exhaust, it will give your car a nice little kick.

It will look stock, inside and out. It will sound stock at an idle. It will not feel stock on this side of the gas pedal, ever.
Questions......
Is there a cam for D15B2? 92hp not enough
Is there a different head? 92hp not enough
What the heck is turbo? of course 92hp is not enough
I might get some pics this weekend, if I get the digital.

See red? Not 4 Long

do a mini me swap, where you put a d16z6 or d16y8 head on it and have vtec, that is a good 15-25 hp gain at the wheels, and is only about 500 dollars if you do it yourself. there is a diy on how to do it too. do a multi point fuel injection conversion to it too, then get an intake and a header nad exhaust, you would be looking at about 110-120 hp to the wheels.
