New guy with questions
I'm 90% sure my choice for my daughter's first car will be a Honda Civic. My budget is 11K. I need some input. Obviously low milegae on the newest year model possible is what I want. However, I want to know where the trade off point should be. I don't think I want to go below 2005 but if I found a really low mileage 2004, would that be a good trade off? What are your thoughts?

You say obviously you want newer and low miles.
I bought two 2006's for my daughter.
I look for newer with HIGH mileage. I would take a generation 8 with 80,000
miles before a gen 7 with 40,000. Civics go 300,000. My old civic is tight as can be at 200,000. miles..
for $11000 you can get the generation 8 ( 2006 or newer ).
oh, to answer more specifically ,,, 04 and 05 are generation 7. so it makes no differance. same body.
