hi all and welcome to the forums! i too am new here and i love this forum! all kinds of neat info and helpful people! i would like to introduce myself:

My name is Kojiro Soma, i live in the UK, London (north london) and i own a 94 1.6Esi Honda Civic with a SOHC Vtec Engine (i think) with the only mod i have a japanese back box.....i presume???? and i don't even know the make of that! hehe
i actually bought the red civic like that and i was a bit worried about the 129k milage but when i drove it WAM! I LOVED IT! there are a few problems here and there for example low engine oil and poor gas milage but nothing a servicing can't do! (or can....)

oh and the blue civic is my sisters and all i know of that is that its an automatic! :P i would appreciate if someone would identify that blue civic and whats its specs as im a complete neWb 8-P oh and here are some pics, tell me what you guys think of em!!!

thanks and welcome to the forums!

The blue one is a 96 to 98 EK4 which is a sohc 3 stage vtec

RE: new here!

thnx Marty for the reply but the blue civic isnt a vtec engine! i know that much for sure! its a 1.4 ltr as far as i know but thnx! at least i know its a 96-98 EK4 (btw what does the EK4 mean?)

but sad news im afraid! my car (the red one) is broken down! as in one of the cylinders is gone! long story short didnt have much engine oil as it was burning rich or burning oil and then even topping it up as soon as i found out the engine died! when i was comin back home with it every time i stopped my car would stall, now its jus sitting inside my driveway waiting for me to do something.

i miss my car since it was my first one and i love honda cars because of it! i would very much appreciate any advice on what i can do to get it up and running, i was thinking of jus repairing it but now thinking of a engine swap but i have no idea as to what is needed or what is required to be done, any advice would be much appreciated!

i will post a video of my problem tomorrow in the morning, from the outside looks perfect, its only when you start the engine...

thanks again

Edit: GOOD NEWS PEOPLE, as of Feburary 13th 2007 my car is re-born with a newly fitted engine. Its fitted with a D15B JDM jap import 1.5 SOHC Vtec engine block, reconditioned and already modded with a full cat-back spoon exhaust system and a AEMv2 air induction filter kit. Havn't dyno'd it yet but well happy with the performance and results. Im enjoying everybit of it and i hope you all have fun with your cars aswell ^_^

Happy Driving

Kojiro Soma
