Default new here

hello to all. First timer here. I am Tom, and live in Sudbury, Ontario. I have a 2004 civic lx. The check engine light came on today, and I thought a forum would be the place for answers. I have learned a lot about my Kawasaki from the Kawasaki Vulcan Riders Forum, and hope to do the same here.

remember you are dealing with a rookie. I don't know how to check for a code. I just know that the check engine light is on, and owners manual said to make sure gas cap was on properly, and failing that I shouldn't drive the the car.

Well here where i live there's auto part stores called Autozone or Kragen. they can check the code for you for free. But since you live in Canada... Im not sure if they have those over there. But you can also just buy a code reader and find out what code its throwing.(they are like 40 dollars I think)
They maybe have a different store that does it? I wouldnt know...lol

^ Yupp either buy one at your local auto parts store or ask them if they can check it for free.
