Hey all. New member from South Mississippi. Just picked up a high mile (260,000) 2005 Civic DX 4cyl 5 speed from a family member. Seems to run great. Just looking for recommendations on motor oil/filters and manual trans fluid to use in my upcoming service. I believe Rotella 10w30 has been run in it. Would like to change to a high mile oil or possibly a full synthetic. Just looking for insight. Thanks in advance!

10w30 is to thick for your car only use 5w20 or 0w20. as for maintenance replacing the timing belt is extremely important unless you want to destroy the engine. when is the last time it was replaced ???
