new to the honda game
well i was a mini trucker for the past 3 years but i found myself trading the truck for a honda.. so im wanting to do a couple things to it and just wating for my garage to get cleaned so i can start.. anyways its a 93 civic hatch on air, shaved emblems, door handles, rear inner tail lights, hood squirters, and body kit is fully molded, car is run with copper line instead of air hose... engine is stock and interior is stock... I want to do an engine swap but im not sure if i want B16 or B18.. im not into racing everywhere just something thats a little quicker than the 1.5 thats in there now.. any suggestions??

Nice car. If you're not too much in to racing, and if you want some thing just better than the 1.5, a B16 should be plenty for you. With a few mods like intake, exhaust, and a couple other things you'll be hauling ***.

yeah, if its on air, then the b16 will be more than enough. you dont want to go too fast anyway unless the suspension is set up for it. actually, an ls (B18b) would be perfect. the B16 wont feel much faster than the 1.5 till about 4-5k rpms anyway. the b16 is all top speed, and an ls would get up and go alot better for everyday driving. and it has potential as a race motor down the line if you decide to get serious about racing.
