Default New to the Honda World

Just bought a 2005 EX SE Coupe in Awesome Fuji Pearl Blue and I love it. New to the Honda world, glad to see this forum for owners to discuss issues. I'll add pics later. Any comments on breaking one of these bad noys in? Dealer said to go easy for the first 600 miles, but hard to keep my foot out of it.

There was a post on here before about an article from the internet. The mechanic said to break an engine in hard. The idea behind it was that if you broke it in easy, the rings wouldn't seat properly and wouldn't form to the cylinder walls correctly.
You'll need to do a search on it to find it.

yeah iv heard that you should put a big load on it, to make sure the rings go as far up and down as they ever will to make a good ridge. seems scary but thats what iv heard from an engine builder.
