new to imports and this site

some of you may have already known this, but i just found out i have the D16Y8 engine
is this a decent motor? this car seems to mov pretty well, IMO

It is the best motor for that model year in civics. nothing too special but you do get the VTAKKKKK!!! lol

hahahhaaha yeah i already posted that on my facebook, lol
my friends were like WTF?! YOU got a honda?! now they all want to race, but wont race the camaro SS, lol
the civic is bait then the camaro bites

but seriously, i really like this car, handles nice and it moves nice too. couldnt be happier!

I have a 2000 SIR and a '99 cx hatch. Both are Canadian models . To get the door to lock from the inside I hold the interior latch open then move the lock to the 'lock' position. Works on mine-hope it works for your United States model. Let me know if it works if you get a chance. Good luck from the great white north!!

Should make a great daily driver. I agree 100% -you enjoy the torque of the SS v8 and I loved the grunt of my early 60's big block mopar stock/superstock cars BUT lite weigth cars are soooo much enjoyable to drive and throw around . Front or rear drive!! Enjoy your new (to you) Honda.
