i bougth a tranny for my 92 civic auto and they gave me a s24 anybody know about this tranny i got it for 195.00

 

i dont know anything about the tranny's that are in hondas, i do know that mine makes a noise when your off the clutch and the noise goes away when your on the clutch.. if your at a stop, put it in neutral let out the clutch the noise comes back, and when you push the clutch the noise spins down.. im thinking input shaft bearing?
would i be better to febuild my stock tranny, or go to something aftermarket?
with 195k miles im surprised theres not more wrong with this car...
