Hello All,

I am new here. I just recently purchased an 07 honda civic lx and I am loving it. I used to drive a truck and at first dreaded the changed over butafter 5 minutes of driving I fell in love with my civic and will never look back.

I am hoping to put some new rims, an air intake, and possibly door guards on my car here pretty soon.

Just bought an '07 lx with a 5 speed last month and it's great! Got to use that VTEC feature this morning when some bozo in a Grand Am tried to cut me off. No way pal. It doesn't exactly replace my Maxima in HP but it sure is great at the pump. I'm happy!

 

I totally understand what you mean by not replacing the HP my truck had a hemi but yeah the difference at the pump makes up for it. I have a buddy who mentioned putting a Greddy exhaust and an intake of somekind to up the HP I am just unsure of what it would do to MPG.

you're MPG is gonna go out the window once you install the new intake, because you're gonna want to hear the R18 under the hood growl all the time.

 

NEWBIE here also,just bought an 07 Civic 4dr LX, auto trans, Tango Red Pearl.
Yes it is great on MPG,I also used to drive a pickup,now I love this Honda more.

haha! I just bought a Civic EX 5 speed manual and previously drove a truck for 13 years. tomorrow is my last day with it. I'm think I'm really going to love driving this car, the comfort, and the mileage.

 

Nice! Mine is identical but white! I've had it for two weeks now and lovin it!
