Hello! I'm a girl, and I don't know too much about cars. My boyfriend does, though and he has gotten me interested in enthusiast forums. I have a 2006 Civic Coupe and I LOVE my car. My parents got it for me brand new in January of 2006, and it has been through HELL since, it has been crashed into a curb (broke spindle, had to replace most of the front end), the engine kept falling apart so Honda replaced the bottom half free of charge, people have backed into (hit and run) and most recently, t-boned. We just spent about $5.5K repairing/restoring both sides of the car and part of the rear bumper. After that I decided to maybe start putting a little $$ into my car and making it a little more custom, I own it, so no one else will ever drive it. I'm gonna post pictures of the most recent accident, and what it looks like now. After driving a rental car that was a 2011 model, and realizing my 2006 model has all of and then some more features, made me a little bit more proud to drive my civic. Not to mention I got t-boned at a decent speed, and was not injured and nothing broke (other than the passenger door being completely smashed). I drove a '93 Accord prior to my civic, if anyone cares.

 

Welcome to the forum. Your story sounds familiar, heh. My 2000 Civic has been totalled twice from the front, hit twice on the right rear, and had some damage on the left rear. Still driving, just got rebuilt again.
