Default A newbie need help

I am a newbie to this forum. My wife has a 2003 Honda Civic with automatic transmission and shehas been taking her car to the dealership for oil change.I promised her that I will do it the next it needs oil change. So the other day, I opened the hood andlooked for the oil filter and the drain plugbut I could not find it. Does anybody here have pictures on where to look or point me to the right direction. Do Ineed to raise the car to find it? The car sits so low even with stock suspension.

The drain plug and filter should be in the same general area. Its under the car, on the bottom of the engine on the oil pan. It may be angled so that the plug points toward the back of the car. The filter should be on the back of the block between the firewall and the engine. You gotta look for this one, sometimes it can be hard to spot. Yes you need to raise the car, and if you need any info on doing the change, there is a walkthrough in the DIY section of the forum.
