Hey my name is dakota from Pittsburgh, im 18 and two days ago I bought my first civic. I bought a red 1999 Civic DX 1.6. So far i have put new taillights, window tint, a magnaflow exhaust tip and a K/N intake for the engine, but many more mods to come. Ill have pics in a little up, but wanted to ideas for some good engine modding?!

 

What kind of tails? The red/white ones that came with your car are the best IMO. Pics?

How much money do you have to spend on the car? How much HP are you trying to get out of the car? How much knowledge do you have with cars and modding?

The taillights are black euro's and im looking to put at least another 100HP in the motor, possible starter turbo? And i have roughly like 2k to put in the car and im not good with them, but my dad is lol.

 

If you want an extra 100 HP, turbo/supercharger would be the most cost effective way to get there. I would suggest to check out the Forced Induction section and read the stickies that have to do with turbo kit basics and what you need and may want to buy when piecing a turbo kit together.

I am not a fan of Euros, but it's your car, you make it how you like it!
