Hey guys, just checking in. New to the site and just bought an 06 Civic EX with a few add ons. One sweet ride. I had a 04 CRV EX but with gas going thru the ceiling and may never come back to earth, I got the Civic. Unlike you younger crotch rocket riders, I am getting up in my fifties so it was comfort and mileage and Honda has done an outstanding job on the redesign. It is like an Acura TL, less the ponies and the leather. I haven't bowed up on it yet but I did on the LX they let me take for 3 hours. Not a 66 SS396 that would suck your lungs out of your chest but impressive. Hey I may be an old fart boys but in my day I had my license revoked in 4 states and had a rap sheet that reached from ceiling to floor. Hope to get to know some of you and get some advice as this new Civic takes hold. Now don't give me a bunch of crap but at the Honda SUV website the crowd was older and I may be 52 but I damn sure ain't dead.

The bad boy is silver, with half nose mask, moon roof deflector, and splashguards. I wanna take my time to see if I wanna dress her up. But it is tight in the turns, handling is awesome. Zero road noise and can't wait to wear out those stinkin OEM tires and replace with some Yokies. The 5 speed trans is sweet. Handles these mountain roads and you never move in the cockpit. I am 6'1" and I have plenty of leg room and you hardly feel a bump in the road. So far, highway miles at 75mph average was 37, while I did take it up to 90 and did not have to wait on it to get there. I will let you know more as I get more road time and sice I do 35K per year......well you figure it out. All the first models as mine are from Japan and they are built solid. Go try one out.
